Budget Committee Members

NOTICE: We are looking for 4-5 Norway residents interested in serving and volunteering on the Budget Committee! Meetings will be held on Monday evenings in March 2026 to discuss Fiscal Year 2027 department budgets. The Committee attends budget presentations from department heads, reviews budget material, and makes recommendations on the budget that will be presented and voted on at the annual Town Meeting in June. The Budget Committee acts through its discussions with the Select Board regarding budgets for each Town department and any other appropriations to be formulated. All meetings are open for public attendance. Applications to serve on the budget committee are available on our website www.norwaymaine.com under the documents - applications and permits tab. They should be completed and returned to the Norway town office by January 9, 2026. We look forward to hearing from you!
